श्री गुरु चरन सरोज रज निज मनु मुकुरू सुधारि।
बरनउँ रघुबर बिमल जसु जो दायक फल चारि॥
बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके सुमिरौं पवनकुमार।
बल बुद्धि विद्या देहि मोहिं हरहु कलेस बिकार॥

जय हनुमान ज्ञान गुन सागर ।
जय कपीस तिहुँ लोक उजागर ॥ १॥
राम दूत अतुलित बल धामा ।
अंजनिपुत्र पवनसुत नामा॥२॥
महावीर बिक्रम बजरंगी ।
कुमति निवारि सुमति के संगी ॥३॥
कंचन बरन बीराज सुबेसा ।
कानन कुण्डल कुंचित केसा॥ ४॥
हाथ बज्र औ ध्वजा बिराजै।
कान्हे मूँज जनेऊ साजै ॥ ५॥
संकर सुवन केसरी नन्दन।
तेज प्रताप महा जग बंदन। ६॥
विद्यावान गुणी अति चातुर।
राम काज करिबे कंह आतुर॥ ७॥
प्रभु चरित सुनिबे को रसिया।
राम लखन सीत मन बसिया॥ ८॥
सूक्ष्म रूप धरि सिंयहि दिखावा।
विकट रूप धरि लंक जरावा॥ ९॥
भीम रूप धरि असुर संहारे ।
रामचन्द्र के काज सँवारे॥ १०॥
लाय संजीवन लखन जियाए।
श्री रघुबीर हरषि उर लाये॥ ११॥
रघुपति कीन्ही बहुत बडाई।
तुम मम प्रिय भरतहि सम भाई॥ १२॥
सहस बदन तुम्हरो जस गावैं।
अस कहि श्रीपति कण्ठ लगावैं॥१३॥
सनकादिक ब्रह्मान्दि मुनिसा।
नारद सारद सहित अहीसा॥ १४॥
जम कुबेर दिगपाल जहां ते।
कवि कोबिद कहि सके कहाँ ते ॥ १५॥
तुम उपकार सुग्रीवहिं कीन्हा।
राम मिलाय राजपद दीन्हा॥ १६ ॥
तुम्हरो मन्त्र विभीषण माना।
लंकेश्वर भय सब जग जाना॥ १७॥
जुग सहस्त्र योजन पर भानु।
लील्यो ताहि मधुर फल जानु॥ १८॥
प्रभु मुद्रिक मेलि मुख माहिं।
जलधि लाँघि गये अचरज नाहिं॥ १९॥
दुर्गम काज जगत के जेते।
सुगम अनुग्रह तुम्हरे तेते॥२०॥
राम दुआरे तुम रखवारे।
होत न आज्ञा बिन पैसारे ॥ २१॥
सब सुख लहै तुम्हारी सरना।
तुम रच्छक काहु को डरना ॥ २२॥
आपन तेज सम्हारो आपै।
तीनौ लोक हांकतै कांपै॥ २३ ॥
भूत पिशाच निकट नहिं आवैं।
महावीर जब नाम सुनावैं ॥ २४॥
नासै रोग हरै सब पीरा।
जपत निरन्तर हनुमत बीरा ॥ २५॥
संकट ते हनुमान छुड़ावैं।
मन क्रम बचन ध्यान जो लावै। २६॥
सब पर राम तपस्वी राजा।
तिन के काज सकल तुम साजा । २७॥
और मनोरथ जो कोई लावै।
सोई अमित जीवन फल पावै ॥ २८॥
चारों युग परताप तुम्हारा।
है परसिद्ध जगत उजियारा ॥ २९ ॥
साधु संत के तुम रखवारे।
असुर निकन्दन राम दुआरे॥ ३०॥
अष्ट सिद्धि नौ निधि के दाता ।
अस वर दीन जानकी माता ॥ ३१ ॥
राम रसायन तुम्हरे पासा।
सदा रहौ रघुपति के दासा॥ ३२ ॥
तुम्हरे भजन राम को पावै ।
जनम जनम के दुख बिसरावै ॥ ३३ ।
अंत काल रघुबर पुर जाई।
जहाँ जन्म हरिभक्त कहाई ॥ ३४॥
और देवता चित्त न धरई।
हनुमत सेई सर्व सुख करई॥ ३५॥
संकट कटै मिटै सब पीरा।
जो सुमिरै हनुमत बल बीरा ॥ ३६॥
जै जै जै हनुमान गोसांई।
कृपा करहु गुरुदेव कि नाईं ॥ ३७ ॥
जो सत बार पाठ करि कोई।
छूटहि बन्दि महासुख होई॥ ३८॥
जो यह पढै हनुमान चलीसा।

Sri Rama orders Astra devatas
मानसा मे भविष्यध्वमिति....1.27.25
मानसाः भविष्यध्वम् इति be recorded in my mind, saying so,
Sri Rama ordered the mantras to register themselves in his mind(memory)
(In sanskrit quotations have to be followed by the word " iti")
and later:
मानसा: कार्यकालेषु साहाय्यं मे करिष्यथ.... 1.28.14
मानसा: residing in my mind,
कार्यकालेषु in times of need,
मे to me,
साहाय्यम् assistnce ,
करिष्यथ render,
यथेष्टम् according to your free will,
गम्यताम् इति can go on,
रघुनन्दन: Rama, तान् आह spoke to astra devatas.
Rama spoke to astra devatas saying "Reside in my mind and render assistance to me in times of need. Now you can go according to your free will ".

Various Divya Astras
Following are the primary astras mentioned in Ramayana and Mahabharata (Astra, Presiding Deity, Weapon's Effect):
Aindra astra:
Presiding Deity: Indra, the god of weather
Weapon's Effect: Would bring about a shower of arrows from the sky.
Agneya astra:
Presiding Deity: Agni, the god of fire
Weapon's Effect: The weapon discharged would emit flames inextinguishable through normal means.
Varuna astra:
Presiding Deity: Varuna, the god of water
Weapon's Effect: The weapon discharged would release torrential volumes of water. This weapon is commonly mentioned as used to counter the Agneyastra.
Naga astra:
Presiding Deity: The Nagas
Weapon's Effect: The weapon would have an un-erring aim and take on the form of a snake, proving deadly upon impact.
Naga paasha:
Presiding Deity: The Nagas
Weapon's Effect: Upon impact, this weapon would bind the target in coils of living venomous snakes. In the Ramayana, it was used against Lord Rama and Lakshmana by Indrajit.
Vayu astra:
Presiding Deity: Vayu, the god of wind
Weapon's Effect: Bring about a gale capable of lifting armies off the ground.
Surya astra:
Presiding Deity: Surya, the sun god
Weapon's Effect: Create a dazzling light that would dispel any darkness about.
Vajra astra:
Presiding Deity: Indra
Weapon's Effect: Target would be struck with bolts of lightning (vajra referring to Indra's thunderbolt).
Mohini astra:
Presiding Deity: Mohini, Visnu avatar
Weapon's Effect: Dispel any form of maya or sorcery in the vicinity.
Twashtar astra:
Presiding Deity: Twashtri, the heavenly builder
Weapon's Effect: When used against a group of opponents (such as an army), would cause them to mistake each other for enemies and fight each other.
Sammohana/ Pramohana astra:
Presiding Deity:
Weapon's Effect: Would cause entire hosts/armies to collapse in a trance.
Parvata astra:
Presiding Deity:
Weapon's Effect: Would cause a Parvata/mountain to fall on the target from the skies.
Brahmaastra:
Presiding Deity: Brahma, the Creator
Weapon's Effect: Would destroy entire hosts at once. Could also counter most other astras.
Brahmasirsha astra:
Presiding Deity: Brahma, the Creator
Weapon's Effect: Capable of killing devas. Was used by Ashwatthama on Parikshit.
Narayana astra:
Presiding Deity: Visnu, the Preserver
Weapon's Effect: Would create showers of arrows and discs. The astra's power would increase with the resistance offered to it. This weapon had to be obtained from Vishnu directly, and could be used only once.
Vaishnava astra:
Presiding Deity: Visnu, the Preserver
Weapon's Effect: Would destroy target completely, irrespective of target's nature. Infallible. This weapon had to be obtained from Vishnu directly.
Pashupata astra:
Presiding Deity: Shiva, the Destroyer
Weapon's Effect: Would destroy target completely, irrespective of target's nature. Infallible. This weapon had to be obtained from Shiva directly.

Killing the Rakshashi-Yakshini
Sri Vishwamitra uttered this benediction when Sri Rama was about to kill the Yakshini Taraka-
विक्रान्ताम् advancing powerully, अशनीमिव like to a thunderbolt, वेगेन with speed, आपतन्तीम् approaching, ताम् her, शरेण with arrow, उरसि in the chest, विव्याथ pierced, सा पपात she fell down, ममार च also died.
Rama pierced with an arrow in the chest of Tataka who was exhibiting prowess and approaching him with speed like that of a thunderbolt. She fell down and died.
राघवयो: स्वस्ति अस्तु जयं चैव
विश्वामित्रस्तु ब्रह्मर्षिर्हुङ्कारेणाभिभर्त्स्यताम्।
स्वस्ति राघवयोरस्तु जयं चैवाभ्यभाषत।।1.26.14।।
